Are We There Yet?
Experiencing nostalgia has proven to benefit people suffering from memory loss by rebuilding mental resources. Patients are able to regain memories, both good and bad, through reminiscence therapy. This film describes my proposal to use clay as a medium for the physical manifestation of memories. People of old age, as well as those who suffer from conditions like dementia are slowly forgotten by society, the objects they create as part of this therapy tell their life story, and memorialize their experiences.
